It was my first time visiting this facility for the CQC renewal course.
I obviously had access to the meeting room on the ground floor, and I must say it is spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable.
On the ground floor, there is a small room with a coffee machine and a water dispenser, so light refreshments are available during breaks.
As with any proper facility, there is a caretaker, the premises are served by parking spaces — unfortunately paid — and for those coming from Modena, it is also reachable on foot or by bike.
Iscom Training has been consistently promoting professional qualification courses for several years, including activities such as tourist guiding (Tourist Guide and Environmental-Ecotourism Guide), Travel Agency Director roles, and preparatory courses for the Ministerial Qualification Exam for Tourist Guides.
For the activity of Tourist Guide.
The tourist guide accompanies and assists individuals and groups on trips within the country or abroad; manages the implementation of tourist programs and provides tourist information about the visited areas.
To access this role, the oral exam only tests language skills. Upon passing, candidates are admitted to a 150-hour course with an attendance requirement of 80%.
At the end, candidates must pass an exam, and upon success, Iscom will issue a certificate of attendance with learning verification and send the candidate's details to the Region for the issuance of the badge.
For the activity of Ecotourism Guide
The ecotourism guide explains to individuals or groups the environmental and naturalistic aspects of the territory, including parks and protected areas, naturalistic and ecological exhibition zones, excluding alpine routes, especially those requiring specific equipment.
Access also requires passing an oral test on the natural and scenic assets of the entire regional territory and language skills.
After passing the test, candidates are admitted to a 150-hour course with an 80% attendance requirement. At the end, they must pass an exam, and upon success, Iscom will issue a certificate of attendance with learning verification and send the candidate's details to the Region for the badge issuance.
Descriptions of courses with start dates are available in the sections “Tourism” and “Patents, Qualifications, and Professions”.
